How it works
Chemical, Biological, Radiological, & Nuclear Defense Solutions
DCS integrates and tests advanced CBRN sensors and information systems for programs such as NexGen Warning & Reporting and Advanced Hazard Prediction, BD21, CBRN Support to Command and Control (CSC2), and Integrated Early Warning and Integrated Layer Defense. Our team excels in sensor data fusion, emulation, and interoperability using standards like ISA and Cursor on Target. We field and maintain complex sensor networks, develop software for high‑fidelity data analysis and visualization, and deliver decision-support capabilities that strengthen operational readiness for DOW and DHS customers.
DCS is the prime developer of Warning and Reporting and Advanced Hazard Prediction (WRAHP), the next generation of the Joint Warning and Reporting Network (JWARN), delivering advanced CBRN data integration and Allied Tactical Publication (ATP)‑45 messaging across Army and Joint C2 systems. Through continuous modernization, WRAHP interoperates with Maven Smart System, Command Post Computing Environment, Tactical Assault Kit, and Joint Tactical Common Operational Picture Workstation. DCS also advances ATP‑45 messaging and transitions emerging S&T innovations into programs of record for secure CBRN data exchange.
With decades of experience and a cadre of CBRN specialists, DCS builds high‑fidelity contamination, decontamination, and hazard‑prediction models that drive faster, smarter operational decisions. Our teams integrate advanced CBRN sensors into command and control environments, fuses real‑time data for greater situational awareness, and delivers mission‑ready tools that accelerate response in complex, high‑stakes environments. Backed by expertise across modeling and simulation, laboratory science, and software engineering, DCS transforms raw data into decisive action, empowering DOW and DHS customers to protect personnel, safeguard infrastructure, and outpace evolving CBRN challenges.
DCS advances biological threat detection across CBRN missions by delivering expert bioinformatics; high‑performance analysis pipelines for genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics; and secure, scalable Laboratory Information Management Systems for government laboratories. We transform complex biological data into actionable insights through large‑scale analytics, rigorous test and evaluation support, and custom software that streamlines data management and visualization. These integrated capabilities enhance the rapid detection, identification, and quantification of biological threats in both lab and field environments strengthening readiness and mission confidence.
DCS leverages advanced AI‑enabled CBRN command and control (C2) solutions, empowering operators with faster, smarter, and more informed decision-making. DCS has developed AI algorithms for rapid sensor data analysis, false alarm suppression, and decision support, including tools like the CBRN Data Indexing Correlation Engine and AI/ML agents for data fusion. DCS applies these technologies in operational prototypes, field exercises, and test environments, supporting real-time situational awareness, predictive analytics, and optimized CBRN response for DOW and DHS customers.
