Chuck Faris serves as the DCS Executive Vice President and Weapons Systems Production & Deployment Sector Manager, bringing more than 47 years of specialized technical and managerial experience in Naval weapon systems. Since 1996, he has been permanently assigned full‑time to Ridgecrest, California, supporting mission-critical programs and advancing systems integration capabilities. Over the past 33 years, Chuck has built a distinguished record as a senior systems engineer and technical leader across military aircraft mission computers, avionics systems, avionics software, and weapons systems integration. His roles have included Chief Engineer-level responsibility for complex aircraft avionics programs, guiding both the technical architecture and implementation strategies that underpin major operational platforms.
Chuck holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Indiana University. With decades of deep technical insight, hands-on program leadership, and consistent support to mission-essential naval aviation systems, Chuck continues to drive excellence in weapons systems production, deployment, and engineering innovation.
